Biography:
Danny comes to us all the way from San Jose, California and De Anza College. He is majoring in Criminal Justice and plans to graduate in 2012. His junior season in high school (2006) he was WCAL All-League Outfield and had Cal-HT Sports Play of the Week. In 2007 he was WCAL All-League again and in 2008 he was All-Coast Conference and Scholar Athlete.

Biggest Thing That Has Surprised You About College: The freedom! I missed class atleast twice a week my freshman year and was suprised every time when no one noticed.
What do you hope to do after college?: Police Officer
Why do you want to play baseball in Niagara Falls?: To be in an environment with Christian athletes and win some ball games while we're at it!

Favorite Bible Verse: Colossians 3:23 - Do it heartily, as unto the Lord.
Who has had the biggest positive influence on your life?: My mom always keeps me in my place.
If you could have dinner with three people, alive or dead, who would they be?: Jesus, Nolan Ryan, Jack Nicklaus
Do you have any non sports related talents? (ie singing, playing guitar, etc): I shred on Guitar Hero

If you could step inside a Bible character's life for a day who would it be and why? Jonah for two reasons: To understand how faithful he really was and because I'm taking a marine biology course so the inside of the whale is interesting to me at the moment.
How many minutes a day do you spend texting?: 45 minutes easy
When did you start playing baseball?: As long as I can remember baseball has been in my life.
Favorite Baseball Memory: Winning the section championship as a Senior in high school.
Ideal Vacation: Taking a road trip with my Dad across the country, visiting all the famous baseball parks along the way.
Ideal/Favorite Pet: We have a black lab named Sydney. She has to be the greatest pet on the planet.
If you had to eat only one food for an entire month what would it be?: Pizza. But it would be tough giving up breakfast.
Most embarrassing and most proud moment: The first time I tried to steal a base I slid headfirst and ended up about 3 feet short of second base. The umpire had trouble calling me out because he was laughing so hard. My proudest moment was winning our high school section championship in 2007. |
